Discovery Cove® is a unique reservations-only, interactive marine life park.Located adjacent to SeaWorld® and Aquatica® in Orlando, the park offers guests the ultimate all-inclusive experience through up-close encounters with dolphins and other exotic sea life. Guests are able to participate in the park’s signature 30-minute dolphin interaction, snorkel with tropical fish and rays in The Grand Reef®, wade beside marmosets and river otters in the Freshwater Oasis®, hand-feed exotic birds in the free flight Explorer’s Aviary™, relax in the large resort pool and swim along the tropical river. Many amenities like freshly prepared meals and drinks, snorkels and sunscreen, are included. Through up-close animal encounters and educational opportunities, guests leave with a renewed connection with the world around them and an awareness of how to help protect animals in the wild.

The signature dolphin swim experience begins with your group meeting a dolphin in one of our crystal clear swimming areas. Next, one of our animal care specialists will teach you all about dolphin habits, behaviors, their incredible communication abilities, and the relationships they build on a daily basis with these incredible animals. After that, each group member will get a chance to individually interact with a dolphin and learn about that dolphin’s personality through behaviors.
Surprises abound. Families can seek discoveries along the water’s edge or cross a bridge to see sharks swimming below. Play hide-and-seek with thousands of beautiful fish, from small colorful angelfish to velvety rays. Further out in the reef, stunning habitats create the feeling of swimming right alongside sharp-toothed reef sharks. You can even take paths and bridges to the reef’s islands and hidden grottos as they delve into the reef from above, around and below.
Ride the soothing currents of a tropical river as it winds past sandy beaches, into our aviary, through a dense rain forest, beneath the rocky terrain of cascading waterfalls, and through an underwater cave. Unwind and relax as the calm currents of our tropical lazy river take you through sights at Discovery Cove in Orlando. When we say Discovery Cove food and beverages are all inclusive, we mean exactly that. From breakfast to lunch, you'll find a selection of freshly-prepared, delicious and healthy options to enjoy.
Begin the morning at Laguna Grill with a mouth-watering, buffet-style breakfast that will energize you for a day full of exploration and fun. Help yourself to seconds or thirds if you want, like we said, it's a Discovery Cove all-inclusive experience.
Following suit is lunch, offering a wide range of everyone's favorite foods prepared with fresh ingredients. We're also happy to accommodate all dietary needs, serving up fresh seafood and vegetarian dishes while providing Allergy Friendly Recommendations.
To complement our food offerings comes an assortment of beverages to choose from. Enjoy a selection of gourmet coffee, ice-cold beverages, and a selection of beer and wine for guests who are 21+.

What to Bring to Discovery CovePhoto ID: Identification needed for each party member 18 years and older. (ex: driver’s license or passport)
Credit card: For an optional in-park charge account or souvenir purchases.
Clothing: Bathing suit and a set of dry clothes. Please note that Discovery Cove is family-friendly, therefore we ask that the appropriate swim attire be worn throughout your visit. Children in diapers are required to use water proof protectors or Swim Diapers (can be provided if needed).
Completed Waivers: Waivers are needed for any minors (under 18 years of age) in your party not visiting with their parent or natural guardian. Waivers can be accessed here.
Jewelry: For the safety and well-being of our marine friends. Please do not leave valuables unattended/unsecured. Park is not responsible for lost, missing or stolen property. (Wedding bands are acceptable.)
Outside food and beverages: No outside food or beverages are allowed in. This includes alcohol and coolers.
Flotation devices: This includes noodles, swim fins, sand toys, flippers, and any scuba equipment.
Discovery Cove is a full day adventure with waterways open from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily. Please plan to arrive between 7:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
For special needs that require a specific timeframe, please call reservations at 407-513-4600 at least 24 hours in advance.
Dolphin Swim and SeaVenture: Times are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis at time of check-in.
Shark Swim: Please arrive and check-in no later than 11:00am.
Ray Feeding: Please arrive and check-in no later than 7:00am.
Trainer for a Day: Please meet your dolphin trainer at 7:45am in the Reception Lobby (check-in should occur before this time).
Flamingo Mingle: Please arrive by 7:00am for proper scheduling.
All-Inclusive Dolphin Swim: Children ages 6-12 must be accompanied by a paying adult who is also participating in the dolphin swim experience.
SeaVenture and Shark Swim: Children ages 10-13 must be accompanied by a paying adult who is also participating in the experience.
Ray Feeding, Animal Trek and Flamingo Mingle All participants must be at least 6 years old and comfortable in water.
In order to maintain a healthy environment for our animals, showering is required prior to entering any of their living space. Private and outdoor shower facilities are provided.
Guests must obey all posted instructions and verbal instructions given by the park employees. Guests shall report any injuries before leaving the park.
All bags, strollers, and other personal items are subject to inspection.
Any person not employed by Discovery Cove or its on-site contractors is prohibited from engaging in solicitation, or the distribution of handbills, leaflets, advertising or promotional materials, or the sales of products or services on the park’s property without first obtaining written approval from Discovery Cove.
